The Peanut’s Movie Review

By Kariea Snowden

The Peanuts Movie, is a heartwarming movie about Charlie Brown and his dog Snoopy.  This pleasant G-Rated movie is the perfect movie to see with all ages of the family. In this adaption of the classic comic strip,  the Little Red-Haired Girl  (voiced by Francesca Capaldi) moves peanuts-movie-2015-voice-castinto Charlie Brown’s neighborhood.Charlie soon afterwards develops a crush on her. Meanwhile, his best friend Snoopy embarks on an epic adventure as a World War I flying ace. The loving beagle pursues his enemy The Red Baron while trying to win the love of a poodle named Fifi. With the help of his good friend Linus, Charlie slowly but surely gains the confidence he needs to talk to the Little Red Haired Girl, but not before having many failed attempts which served as inspiration for Snoopy’s epic novel.

Blue Sky Studios succeeds in bringing the world of Charlie Brown to life while keeping that classic hand drawn look that those old enough peanuts trailer.previewstill know and love. The Peanuts Movie is also very brightly colored in both 2D and 3D. The flying scenes with Snoopy take the most advantage of the 3D while most of the real world scenes tend to be in 2D, so watching the movie in 3D isn’t necessarily enjoyable .

Over all The Peanuts Movie succeeds in bringing the Peanuts franchise to present day while still keeping the Charlie Brown we love intact.
