Highland Boys Soccer Team Places

The Highland Bulldogs soccer team finished in 4th place in the Golden League behind A.V., Quartz Hill, and Knight. Senior defender  Alejandro Solis says “ The team played well as expected, with heart and with lots of energy”. The Highland Bulldogs soccer team finished with 8 wins and 6 loses overall, and 6 wins and 4 loses in the Golden league. They won an important stretch of games during mid-season, winning 7 out of 9 games and beating Eastside High School 3 to 0 at the end of the season, which helped secure a playoff spot. The Bulldogs scored 31 goals this season led by junior Rodrigo Martinez who scored 10 of those goals. The soccer team will take part in an away playoff game at Saugus High school on Friday, February 17th at 3 p.m. Alejandro Solis says “ We need to play fast, with energy and lots of heart”.
