It’s that time of year again! – It’s AP season. However, there is a BIG twist. The Antelope Valley Union High School District was fortunate to receive a federal grant.
District officials allocated money to reduce the original $93.00 dollar charge per test. For the 2017 test season, each AP test will cost $5.00 for all students. Compared to previous years, this is a fantastic deal!
Students, it is encouraged this year to pick up a AP Test Registration form in Ms. Nichol’s office at the front of the school. One can register and pay for their given AP test(s) at the student store starting now through March 3rd.
A hardworking junior, Shane Hixon, mentioned “I am taking three tests and it’s awesome it costs $5.00. Although I do not like the pressure I have with some AP tests I don’t feel comfortable taking- I am in a position to take them now. In the end, I am still happy the tests are five bucks!”
