Cross Country Boys Fall Short of Advancing to State

The Highland Boys cross country team competed in their final race of their season last week. Twenty-four  schools competed for the top seven spots to advance to the state race.

The Highland boys team ran hard and battled for their spot to run the state race,  placing 18th, but overall it was a great race for the team.

Varsity runner Abraham Sosa Torres says, “The race was hot and really dusty. It was a hard race because all of the teams wanted to advance. We came 18th place as a team but in the end it was a great season and a fun race.”
